Business Details
We are Heather Hilliard Design, a full-service boutique interior design firm based in San Francisco, California. For over ten years we have served high-end residential clients across the United States, including San Francisco, New York City, Jackson Hole, Hawaii, Boston, the Bay Area and wine country. Our approach combines classic detailing with the restraint of modern design to create personalized interiors that reflect each client's unique style. Every project we undertake delivers a refined result that embodies the very best of our clients' personal tastes. Our work has been recognized in national publications such as Elle Decor, Luxe Interiors + Design, Mansion Global, The Wall Street Journal, Veranda, House Beautiful and Traditional Home. Since our founding we have prevailed nine times in juried competitions to design rooms at the annual San Francisco Decorator Showcase. We have also been invited to serve on the Designers Circle for both the San Francisco Antiques Show and SFMOMA's Fog Design + Art Fair for many years.
Our professional credentials include Allied Membership in ASID, Associate Membership in AIA, and patronage roles with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the De Young and Legion of Honor museums, and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. We draw on Heather's background in art history and contemporary art, honed through study at LaSalle University, the Academy of Art University, and post-baccalaureate programs at Moore College, Drexel, UC Berkeley and Stanford, to inform every design decision. Before establishing our firm we gained senior-level experience at the Wiseman Group and earlier positions at the University of Pennsylvania's Institute of Contemporary Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. We are committed to solving our clients' design challenges with meticulous craftsmanship, trusted artisan relationships, and a steadfast dedication to client satisfaction.
