There she was able to put her artistic abilities to good use for her clients and this inspired her to complete her education.
She went on to receive a BFA in Interior Design winning the "best portfolio" of her graduating class.
In school she learned CAD (Computer Aided Design) and quickly realized the benefits of this cutting edge technology.
She invested in the industry's leading 3D software and went on to work for several years in designing kitchens & baths.

The clients wanted a restful retreat to include a flat screen television, but they didn't want to see it in the room when it wasn't being watched.
Desiree suggested to put the tv at the foot of the bed in a tv lift cabinet.
They didn't want the cabinet to overshadow their beautiful furniture, so the cabinet was stained to match their furniture.
The rule of thumb is if you want something to disappear make it the same color.
The cabinet offers functionality without sacrificing the aesthetic beauty of the space.
